Next, we’ll venture through the scenic cedar forest of Azrou, where you may encounter resident monkeys. As we cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, you’ll be captivated by the stunning forests, springs, jagged rocks, and traditional Berber villages. Midelt, renowned for its rocks and fossils, will be our halfway point for a delightful lunch. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey towards Merzouga, the gateway to the majestic Sahara sand dunes. In the evening, you’ll experience an unforgettable camel ride to an oasis, where you’ll enjoy the mesmerizing sunset over the Sahara and spend the night in a luxurious desert camp. Following a delightful lunch, we’ll drive through captivating landscapes towards Todra Gorge. Take a short hike at the bottom of the gorge, where you’ll encounter picturesque river valleys and Berber villages. You’ll check into a hotel, enjoy a relaxing dinner, and have the opportunity to indulge in stargazing in the tranquil surroundings.

Day 3: Todra Gorge to Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou

After a satisfying breakfast, we’ll begin our drive towards Marrakech. Along the route, we’ll pass through remarkable sites and attractions. Traverse the Valley of 1001 Kasbahs and soak in the beauty of the Valley of Roses in Kelaat M’Gouna. Explore the renowned Kasbah Amridil and the palm groves of Skoura. Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, where we’ll visit the Cinema Studio Atlas and the historic Taourirt Kasbah. After lunch, we’ll visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its appearance in movies such as “The Gladiator.” As we drive over the majestic High Atlas Mountains, you’ll be treated to breathtaking scenery until we reach the vibrant city of Marrakech.
