DAY 1 – MARRAKECH OURIKA VALLEY

Escape the bustling streets of Marrakech and embark on a day trip to Ourika Valley, a serene oasis nestled in the southern slopes of the High Atlas Mountains. Our adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel/riad, followed by a scenic drive to the valley located just 30km away.

As we journey through the picturesque landscapes, we will make stops along the way to explore an Argan cooperative, where you can witness the traditional process of handmade, organic Argan oil production by local women. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Berber villages and local souks, gaining insights into the traditional lifestyle of Moroccans.

Upon arrival in Ourika Valley, a peaceful sanctuary awaits. Relax by the clean, rippling stream as you savor a delightful lunch. Marvel at the breathtaking view of the High Atlas Mountains and the nearby waterfalls, which beckon the adventurous spirit within you to embark on a thrilling climb.

To deepen your cultural experience, we will visit a traditional Berber house, where you will be treated to a cup of refreshing mint tea, accompanied by freshly baked bread and locally produced olive oil. This encounter will offer a glimpse into the warmth and hospitality of the Berber culture.

In the late afternoon, we will drive back to Marrakech, where you will have the option to be dropped off at your hotel/riad or at Djemaa-el-Fna, the vibrant central square of the city.
