10-DAY ITINERARY: CASABLANCA TO MARRAKECH VIA RABAT AND LARACHE

Day 1: Casablanca to Fes

Upon your arrival at Casablanca International Airport, you will meet your private English-speaking driver. We will start our journey towards Fes, with a visit to one of the famous mosques, the Hassan II Mosque, known for its exquisite craftsmanship. Afterward, we continue our journey to Fes.

Day 2: Fes Guided Tour

Embark on a guided tour of Fes, one of the world’s largest walled cities. Explore the bustling medina, filled with vibrant markets, intricate carpets, and aromatic spices. Visit landmarks such as the King’s Palace, tanneries, and the University of Al-Karaouine, one of the oldest existing universities. Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina and experience a breathtaking sunset from the Tombe dei Merenidi.

Day 3: Fes to Meknes to Volubilis to Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we depart for Meknes, an imperial city. Explore the medina and visit the famous Bab al-Mansour gate. Later, we visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, providing insights into life during the Roman Empire. Finally, we head to Chefchaouen, known as the “blue city,” nestled in the Rif Mountains. Enjoy a relaxing evening in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen Exploration

Discover the beauty of Chefchaouen with a visit to the cascades of Akchour, where you can enjoy a short hike surrounded by breathtaking waterfalls, rivers, and valleys. Weather permitting, you can swim in the crystal-clear river and have a picnic lunch in the valley. In the evening, hike to the Spanish Mosque for a beautiful sunset view of Chefchaouen.

Day 5: Chefchaouen to Tetouan to Tangier

Leave Chefchaouen and drive to Tetouan, a charming small city known for its architectural beauty. Explore the city and capture the picturesque landscapes and villages along the way. Continue the journey to Tangier, the bride city of North Morocco.

Day 6: Tangier to Asilah to Larache to Rabat

In Tangier, visit the medina and the American Legation, which highlights the historical relations between Morocco and the USA. Enjoy the breathtaking view at Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea meet. On the way to Rabat, stop at Asilah, a coastal town with a charming medina surrounded by Portuguese ramparts. Continue to Larache, an important harbor town, before reaching Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Spend a relaxing night in Rabat.

Day 7: Rabat to El Jadida to Essaouira

Explore Rabat and visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, an ancient royal fort with French-designed gardens. Depart for Essaouira, stopping at El Jadida to explore the Portuguese City and Portuguese Cistern. Arrive in Essaouira, a beautiful coastal city, and enjoy the evening at your Riad.

Day 8: Essaouira to Marrakech

Discover the charms of Essaouira, exploring the old medina, ramparts, and beach. Visit the seafood market for a delicious lunch. Depart for Marrakech, and along the way, witness the famous Argan trees where goats frequently climb. Arrive in Marrakech and check into your Riad. In the evening, visit the lively Djemaa-el-Fna square, a central attraction of Marrakech.

Day 9: Marrakech Guided Tour

Embark on a guided tour of Marrakech, visiting the medina, Koutoubia Mosque, Jardin Majorelle, Jardin Menara, and Palais De La Bahia. In the evening, enjoy the bustling atmosphere of Djemaa-el-Fna square and savor a traditional dinner.

Day 10: Departure from Marrakech
